Kiddiwinks Child Care is a member of the
National Day Nurseries Association
and the
Pre-School Learning Alliance.
We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for your child to develop and learn at his or her own pace. Our wide range of toys and equipment allow us to tailor activities to suit the needs of each individual, while at the same time encouraging each child to try new experiences. We operate an equal opportunities policy in all areas of the nursery and have an appointed Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO).
Our staff are chosen for their natural love of and affinity with children, as well as their formal qualifications and experience. In addition to First Aid and Food Hygiene courses, all staff attend regular training days in order to stay up to date with current child care practice.
Several staff have been with us for many years, providing consistency of care for second/third children of families using the nursery.
The nursery is inspected regularly by Ofsted Early Years to ensure that it is meeting the National Care Standards. Ofsted also carry out education inspections in respect of the Foundation Stage curriculum for 3 and 4 year olds who receive the nursery education grant. Our written policies and procedures, which demonstrate how we meet the standards, are available to parents at any time.
Nursery Education Grant funding is available for children over 3 years of age. We also accept corporate child care vouchers and are an Accredited partner in the Early Years Ltd nursery fee saving scheme. Please contact us for more details of these schemes.
